Jack Maynard ‘in hiding’ and planning to ‘sneak back into UK’ after being sacked from I’m A Celebrity
It comes amid claims he 'begged a 14-year-old' to send him nude pictures
JACK Maynard is “in hiding” and is planning on “sneaking back” into the country after being given the boot from I’m A Celebrity.
The Sun Online revealed the YouTube star had left the competition on Monday night, amid claims he had begged a teenager for nude pictures.
Since then, Jack has been lying low and has yet to be seen in public.
It’s believed the 23-year-old caught a flight back to the UK on Wednesday and is expected to land in London this morning.
The news comes just hours after it was reported Jack had been accused of asking a 14-year-old girl to send him pictures of herself in a bra.
According to the Mirror Online, the 23-year-old told her that her “boobs are so nice” and said she “would look good in a bra shot”.
He later is claimed to have branded her a “bore” and “ugly freak”, when she refused to share the pictures.
The messages were reportedly sent from Jack's Facebook account - which he took down yesterday - in December 2011, when he was 17.
Jack’s time in the jungle was also marred by racist and homophobic tweets, which came to light just hours after the show started.
A representative said of his departure: “In the last few days Jack Maynard has been the subject of a succession of media stories which, given his position as a contestant on 'I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here' - filmed in the Australian jungle, with no contact with the outside world, he has been unable to respond to.
“Since it is only fair that everyone should be aware of any allegations made against them and should also have the right to defend themselves, it was agreed that it would be better to bring him out of the show.
“Jack agrees with this decision which was made by his representatives and ITV and thanks everyone who has supported him in the show this far.”
Jack has yet to comment on the allegations.
