JAYNE Torvill and Christopher Dean will not perform on Dancing on Ice when it returns next year.
The Olympic ice skating champions will return as judges on the ITV reality show in the New Year after four years off-screen.
Appearing on today's Good Morning Britain, Ben Shepherd asked the pair if they would be performing each week like they did during the show's original run.
But Jayne replied: "Not at the moment, but when we go on tour I don't think they'll be able to stop us getting on the ice."
The pair previously coached the celebrities but are now looking forward to getting behind the judges' table.
Chris joked: "We are now judges, we're going to rock up on Sunday and give our expert opinion then be like 'see you next week, be better'."
Asked if they would miss choreographing the routines for the new batch of celebrities, which includes Good Morning Britain's weatherman Alex Beresford, Jayne replied they would.
She said: "I think we will once we get started because that's what we've always loved, the creative side of everything, that's what we do.
"But we need to take a step back and let them all get on with it."
Despite the change in their roles, Torvill and Dean are delighted the show is making a comeback.

Jayne continued: "At first, I think after nine series, it was quite draining on the body and the mind, it was nice to have that break, maybe for one year.
"But then everyone started to get a little bit twitchy."
Chris added: "We feel really fresh now and it's coming back, we've got new producers so it's going to have a really fresh look."
