Jay Cutkelvin ‘sneaked out’ of X Factor house and ‘checked into a hotel with two girls after all night bender’
JAY Cutkelvin "sneaked out" of The X Factor house and "checked into a hotel with two girls after all night bender," according to new reports.
The singer, 24, - who is in The Cutkelvins with his brother Kyle, 23, and sister Shereen, 20, - gave "security the slip" and went partying in London until 5am.
A source told : "Jay was out with the X Factor team after last week’s show when he managed to swerve security and go on his own big blow-out.
“London is very different to Lanark in Scotland, where he’s from, so Jay wanted to make the most of his time while he’s down south.
“He ended up staying out until 5am and realised he couldn’t go back to the house the contestants share at that time, so he ended up finding his own hotel, where he was seen walking in with two women.”
However, a source close to Jay told The Sun Online that he hit the town to blow off some steam.
The insider told us: "The Cutkelvins have worked so hard over the past few weeks on the show.
"They work around the clock to stay in the competition and their priority is doing well on the show. But naturally, Jay wanted to celebrate them getting through last weekend."
Meanwhile, the family group lived to sing another day after they ended up in the bottom two with Matt Linnen.
However, in a shock twist, Dermot O'Leary announced that two acts will be getting the boot on Sunday night and just three of them will make it to next weekend's final.
The Cutkelvins are up against Grace Davies, Kevin Davey White, Lloyd Macey and Rak-Su for the coveted spots.
Meanwhile, the group found themselves in hot water with fans after they broke a major rule on tonight's show.

The group performed their own track, Nothing Like You, despite this week's theme being Cool Britannia to celebrate British music.
The others performed hits by British acts like The Rolling Stones, The Beatles and David Bowie.
But viewers were unimpressed that their mentor Simon Cowell changed the rules for them and allowed them to showcase their own music.
One wrote: "I love The Cutkelvins and that song was brilliant but how the hell it kept to the theme, I don't know".
It comes after they left viewers up in arms last week after they didn't perform a George Michael themed song despite it being a George Michael themed week.
- The X Factor continues on Sunday night at 7.30pm on ITV
