Kym Marsh reveals she has a ‘very good relationship’ with ex-husband Jamie Lomas as she backs him to win I’m A Celebrity

KYM Marsh revealed she has a "very good relationship" with ex-husband Jamie Lomas as she backed him to win I'm A Celebrity.

The actress is still on friendly terms with her former partner and she's convinced he's got what it takes to be crowned King of the Jungle.

Kym, 41, who plays Michelle Connor on the ITV soap, had an acrimonious split from the ex-Hollyoaks hunk, 42, three years ago.

They are parents to a daughter, Polly, six, and Kym has been supporting Jamie during his time in the jungle.

She has now opened up about their relationship and insisted they are still on good terms despite their bitter split.

"There’s no bad feelings.

"We have a very good relationship, Jamie and I. Polly has a good relationship with her dad...

"We have nothing bad to say about each other.”

When asked if Jamie can win the show, she said: "Why not? He’s a character, he’s got a personality.”

Kym previously told The Sun that Polly loves seeing her dad on TV.

She said: "I've been watching every night have and I think he’s been doing very well, Polly is just ecstatic because it’s her Dad.”

Kym added: "I don’t think there’s anything to be worried about with Jamie discussing our relationship on screen, he's not the kind of person to be vocal on anything, plus I’ve got nothing to hide.

“I’ve known about this quite some time but I kept it from Polly and obviously when she found out she couldn’t stop talking about it. She kept on talking about it ‘My Dad is going to be in the jungle!’

"Jamie will do very well but he doesn’t like rats though, so we’ll just have to wait and see.”
