When did Ant McPartlin and Lisa Armstrong get married?
Ant and Lisa met at a pop concert at Newcastle City Hall in 1994.
She was performing with band Deuce while he was performing with his best pal Declan Donnelly in their band PJ & Duncan.
After a lengthy romance, Ant proposed to her whilst on holiday in Dubai on April 26, 2005.
They married on July 22, 2006, in Taplow, Buckinghamshire.
The couple do not have any children together.
Why did Ant McPartlin and Lisa Armstrong get divorced?
On January 14, 2018, The Sun's Bizarre column revealed that Ant, 42, and Lisa, 41, were divorcing after over ten years of marriage.
In a statement, Ant’s spokesman said: “In response to the recent speculation in the media, Ant is very sad to announce that, after 11 years, he is ending his marriage to Lisa McPartlin.
“Ant asks for privacy at this difficult time, for both himself, Lisa and their immediate families. No further statement will be made.”
The Sun revealed it was Ant’s decision to end the marriage following a series of emotional face to face meetings with Lisa.
On April 23, 2020 the former couple's £31M divorce was finalised.
