Towie’s Amber Dowding hits back at vile troll who tormented her over mum’s cancer battle
The reality star was sharing the happy news that she was moving in with boyfriend Chris Clark when the troll started making vile remarks about her mum having cancer
AMBER Dowding has exposed a vile troll who targeted her over her mum’s battle with cancer.
The Towie star was attacked by an Instagram user named everythingbaby17 – who has now deleted their account, when she revealed she was moving in with boyfriend Chris Clark.
Revealing a series of screen grabs, Amber said: “Luckily my mum is over cancer but if she wasn’t and was really unwell and this SICK SICK person kept going on like this. F*** there are evil people in this world.”
The vile message stated: “Go look after your mum you desperate extra…
“If my mum had cancer I wouldn’t be running away with a guy that you’re using just for air time on tv you’re a nasty sick b**** who clearly wants her mum dead before Christmas.”
Amber’s mum was diagnosed with breast cancer in the summer of 2016 and after undergoing chemotherapy was told in March that her cancer was in remission.
However, that didn’t stop the troll from continuing to target her.
Amber then tweeted: “Honestly it got worse. The comments are actually beyond disgusting. I wouldn’t normally rise to trolls but that was just on another level.”
The comments became even more vile, with one of them even being aimed directly at Maria.
It read: “You’ll die and your skank daughter won’t be at your side @dowdingmaria the cancer has obviously taken over your head.”
The troll later wrote: “She should be the one with cancer not her poor mum.”
Amber’s fans flooded her Twitter with messages of support, one wrote: “Omg @amberdowding! I am sickened and disgusted by these comments from this vile person, who I cannot actually believe can be so cruel! There is something clearly wrong with her! Please try to rise above it darling and give my love to your mum ❤️#shocked”
And another added: “@amberdowdingx This behaviour is an embarrassment. Good luck, for your future, for you & your family x”
Amber’s boyfriend Chris recently opened up about how heartbroken Amber had been to discover her mum had cancer.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun Online, Chris said: “Last August Amber’s mum was diagnosed with breast cancer; it was stage three so quite aggressive.”
Recalling the moment that that would change Amber’s life, he said: “I remember Amber’s mum and dad calling us and telling us to come home, we’d been on holiday together and she was meant to stay at mine, but they said straight away that they wanted us there tonight.
“And to see Amber - to see a human being react like that, I’d never had experience of that, it was devastating for her.”
