Tom has been wooing Debbie for as yet unknown nefarious reasons

Tom has remained away from the village while seducing Debbie as part of his bizarre scheme, but never one to shy away from a mystery, Charity became too intrigued to not meet him.

The conwoman convinced Debbie that she was worried about her being ashamed of her and felt that was why she hadn’t introduced multi-millionaire Tom to her.

It forced Debbie to convince Tom to come to the Christmas lights switch on in the village and make himself known.

But when Debbie revealed the good news and left to go home, Charity admitted her scheme was really about finding out who Tom is.

Charity isn’t one to hide from a mystery or a fight so could bring Tom down

Diane told her Debbie wouldn’t be ashamed of her, and Charity replied: “I never thought she was, I was just laying it on thick to be honest to make her feel bad to get her boyfriend to play ball.

“Worked a treat, eh?”

However, while Charity is preparing to face down Tom it could reveal the real reason he is so interested in Debbie, as his manservant Graham pointed out.

“Her mother, is that wise?” asked Graham, hinting that Charity could be the one to recognise Tom and his plan.

Graham added: “What about your other commitments? There’s a conflict of interests.”

But with Tom playing a round of indoor golf at the time, could Tom be behind the golf course deal that’s leaving the Dingles homeless?
