Love Island engaged couple Jessica Shears and Dominic Lever say they have such big arguments he storms out
LOVE Island’s Jessica Shears and Dominic Lever say they have huge arguments all the time - with some so bad he will storm out.
The engaged pair have revealed their secrets to having a solid relationship after fellow stars of the ITV2 show Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies had a falling out at the weekend.
Dom, 26, reckons spending “every waking minute together” helps as well as bribing his girlfriend with presents.
Speaking at the Beauty Awards, Jess, 23, said: “We have blow outs but we always make up. We will argue. Everyone argues, it's so natural.
"But within ten minutes one of us always comes moping back like 'I'm really sorry but,’ and then we reason out why we’re annoyed.”
Dom added: “I've learnt not to be stubborn. I normally storm off and go upstairs and go in the games room.
"Jess has had some early Christmas presents put it this way."
The couple are due to get married next summer after they got engaged in September.
They are to star in a TV show about the big day with filming, they say, expected to start in January.
Their admission comes after winners of the 2017 series of Love Island Kem and Amber fell out at the weekend.
A source close to the couple said: “They have been arguing a lot recently and things finally came to a head on Saturday.
“Amber was out with some of the girls from Love Island — Olivia Attwood and Georgia Harrison — so blocked Kem on social media to try and enjoy a stress free evening. It was just a silly argument — Kem even sent Amber some flowers to make things right again between them.”
Kem has previously told of the couple's struggles.
He said: “It hasn’t been easy. We aren’t perfect all the time but we do talk about things. Not everyone is going to think we’re the perfect couple, we know we’re not.”
