Ed Sheeran reveals Beyoncé will duet with him on new single Perfect
The Brit sensation has shocked and delighted fans with the surprise news that Beyoncé will be singing on a new version of his latest single. Ed has called has previously hailed performing with her as the best moments of his career
ED Sheeran surprised fans with the news today that Beyoncé has duetted with him on his latest single Perfect – and it’ll be released tonight.
The Brit star announced the news on Instagram this morning when he uploaded the artwork from his album Divide, with Bey’s name added.
He casually wrote: Got Beyonce to duet with me on Perfect, comes out today at 7pm ET / 4pm PT / midnight GMT x
And fans went wild over the news.
Many wrote: “Whaaaaaaaaaaatttttt”
Others added: “LEGENDARY!!!”
And someone else cyber-yelled: “NOT ONLY MY FAV SONG MY 2 FAV PEOPLE😦”
Ed has performed with the US icon a number of times and said singing with her for the first time was the greatest moment of his career.
He told People in May: “After having sung with Beyoncé, I’d say she’s always top of my list. Even just standing near her onstage makes me look better - just because she’s really that amazing.
"She has this aura around her of just talent.
“Rehearsing with her, hearing her sing up close is just a thing to marvel. Even if my career ended tomorrow, I’ll still be able to tell my grandkids that I got to sing with Beyoncé.
"She will be remembered as one of the greats.”
