Rebekah Vardy’s dad Carlos looks seriously happy as he arrives in Australia following fears for his daughter’s health
REBEKAH Vardy's dad looked overjoyed as he touched down in Australia to support his daughter during her stint on I'm a Celebrity on Thursday.
Finally arriving Down Under, Carlos Miranda flashed a beaming smile and an enthusiastic thumbs up.
Seemingly a fan of Oz, Madeira-born Carlos also went out of his way to wear a fancy dress hat that was emblazoned with "Australia" and a kangaroo.
And it's no surprise he was in such high spirits, given that he will now enjoy a luxury stay in the Gold Coast's swanky Versace hotel.
The plush digs are just an hours' drive from where the show is filmed in Springbrook National Park.
Being close to his daughter will no doubt come as a relief to Carlos, given that Rebekah has battled with her health since being on the reality show.
The WAG was ruled out of her last Bushtucker Trial on medical grounds after complaining that she "didn't feel good".
Rebekah is quickly shaping up to be one of the most candid campmates in history, after a conversation about mental health saw her admit to attempting suicide when she was just 14-years-old.
Shortly after her admission, a source told The Mirror that Becky had spiralled into depression after years of sexual abuse by a family friend.
"She started drinking, getting into fights at school, she became the black sheep of the family," the friend told the newspaper.
"Then she tried to take an overdose."
