Paddy McGuinness has splashed out on a £2.1m home in the same village as Coleen and Wayne Rooney

The Take Me Out host, 44, and wife Christine, 29, quit his home town Bolton after pranksters kept ringing their doorbell at night.

They were renting in Prestbury, Cheshire, but have bought a gated residence nearby with gym, cinema and games room.

A source said: “The house takes everyone’s breath away. It shows how well Paddy has done from his TV work.”

“It’s tucked away down a nice, quiet road, but it’s absolutely massive and has everyone any family could dream of. It shows how well Paddy has done from his comedy and his TV work. Not bad for a boy from Bolton.”

Paddy has previously told how he loves quiet nights in with model Christine, their twins Leo and Penelope, four, and daughter Felicity, one.
