DENNIS Wise has defended his comments to Iain Lee at the start of tonight’s I’m A Celebrity.
Viewers accused the former footballer of “bullying” Iain after he shouldn’t do the trial as he’d previously quit two challenges.
After their confrontation, Dennis tried to defend his comments to Amir Khan.
He told him: “Maybe it came across in the wrong manner, I didn’t want to be rude about it.
“I tried to say it as it was and that was nothing malicious or nasty or whatever, I just said what I said.
“He was trying to make me feel bad about it.”
Amir later said in the Bush Telegraph: “It was true what Dennis said but I think he was a little too hard.”
“Dennis should have said it a bit nicer to Iain.”
Their argument shocked fans who went on to accuse Dennis of “bullying” Iain.
When Jamie Lomas came back from the trial, Dennis and Iain spoke about their row and shook hands.
Viewers were unimpressed however and laid into Dennis for this comments.
One tweeted:“Why is he being so cruel to Iain?”
A second said: “So the bullying begins again...”
A third commented: “Dennis you are a bully go home you small man.”
