ANT McPartlin danced around the I'm A Celebrity studio tonight when he finally proved Declan Donnelly was shorter than Dennis Wise.

For the past two weeks, Dec has mercilessly teased the former footballer for being small.

Ant’s jokingly said he’s tiring of the comedy routine and this evening managed to finally confirm what he knew all along.

Welcoming 5ft 5" Dennis out of the camp after he was voted out tonight, Ant told 50-year-old Dennis: “We've had a long-running debate, someone in the studio thinks he's taller than you.”

Looking at Dec, Dennis slowly turned around so he was standing back-to-back with the Geordie presenter.

Ant then used his hand to work out who was the tallest out of the pair.

Shouting with excitement, Ant announced: “I think he's done you.

“Dennis you've made my night.”

Dec didn’t manage to hide his sorrow and meekly told Dennis: “When you watch it back fast forward the show.

“I may have mentioned it once or twice…”

Throughout the series, Dec has insisted he is taller than Dennis - resulting in endless brilliant jokes.

Dennis' exit was met with glee by I'm A Celebrity fans after they accused him of picking on Iain Lee.

Former Chelsea star Dennis defended his comments about the radio DJ and insisted he was only thinking of the campmates and how much they all needed food.
