Amir Khan and Dennis Wise are the ‘real game players’ – not Iain Lee, claim anti-bullying charity

AMIR Khan and Dennis Wise are the “real game players” of I’m A Celebrity and not Iain Lee, claims an anti-bullying charity.

The boxer and former footballer, who has now been evicted, have been accused of bullying Iain after appearing to gang up on the broadcaster alongside Jamie Lomas.

Amir had even claimed that Iain had a game plan as he laid into broadcaster, who admitted he had been left “uncomfortable” by his behaviour.

But a leading anti-bullying charity has said that it is in fact Amir and Dennis who are playing a game as tension has run over the last few days.

Christine Pratt, who is the head of the National Bullying Helpline, told The Sun Online: “Those who are criticising Iain, or accuse him of playing a game, are testing the waters.

“Consciously (or maybe sub-consciously) they are seeking the support of others to create a divide and a culture of collusion and exclusion which is feeding their personal desire for power.

“Abuse of power and control is classic bullying.  These are the real ‘game players’ and it is a dirty game too.”

Amir first suggested Iain had a game plan after he tried to win a care package for Kezia.

He said at the time:  “He is playing mind games 100% he is trying to win the crowd over, he has a game plan.”

Rebekah Vardy also claimed it was all an act after she lost her place in the jungle, saying: “Honestly, he’s fake, I spent a lot of time with him and I was so careful of what I wanted to say on the VT and what I didn’t want to say.

“But now I’m out and he’s got a game plan and I hate people who pretend to be something they’re not.

“He wanted to play the sympathy card, he isolates himself from the rest of camp, then when the cameras are on he’s all about us.”

But while they think their comments might be harmless, the anti-bullying charity believes they not only make for uncomfortable viewing but will affect Iain’s mental health.

Christine continued: “Ultimately, what matters at this point in time is how Iain feels.

“If his behaviour changes detrimentally or he shows signs of feeling excluded or depressed, his feelings with regard to the challenge and his fear of heights will be compounded – a double wammy so to speak.”

She concluded: “As for the behaviour of Amir and Rebekah, or whoever is creating the hostility, this will make for uncomfortable viewing.”

Dennis and Rebekah are no longer in the jungle and today Amir’s wife denied he was playing a game – saying what you see is what you get.
