Georgia Toffolo becomes I’m A Celebrity’s most backed star ever after bikini antics and candid chats
JOLLY Georgia Toffolo has become the most heavily backed star in I’m A Celebrity history.
The likeable 23-year-old socialite is now 9/1 ON to be crowned Queen of the Jungle.
Ladbrokes put second favourite Iain Lee way behind at 7/1.
Show bosses are said to be “absolutely delighted” with fans’ positive reaction to give-it-a-go Georgia.
And industry experts predict winning Sunday's final will catapult her career to new heights — echoing the success of previous winners Scarlett Moffatt and Vicky Pattison.
A show source said: “Everyone is delighted with Toff.
"She’s been the signing of the year, even though she was one of the least well known.
“The bookers hoped she would be likeable in the camp and appeal to some of the younger viewers but she’s totally stolen the show.
“In what has been a bit of a dull year for discussions between the campmates, she’s basically saved the series. She’s also been an absolute bargain.”
The Sun revealed she is being paid £13,000 for her three-week stint, making her the lowest paid celebrity of the series. Boxer Amir Khan is getting £300,000.
Posh Georgia won over fans with her infectious personality — as well as by wearing a string of bikinis in the jungle’s waterfall shower.
She has also been happy to open up about her personal life, admitting the jungle has helped her recover from her break-up with boyfriend James Middleton.
She told campmate Vanessa White: “I was meant to be going to South Africa with my ex-boyfriend but we broke up.
“I’m OK — I’ve thought about it, but I wanted to use this time to get my confidence back up.
“My confidence was knocked so much.
"It happened so soon before I came in here.
“I thought, I’m going to be away for so long — no phone or anything — and I want my confidence to come back.
"I want to be exactly who I was before.”
Last night’s show saw her hurling fish guts and rancid waste on to squirming Jamie Lomas in a trial.
In previous challenges she has been buried with jungle critters alongside Amir, and had to drink blended crocodile anus.
Evicted celebrities including Rebekah Vardy and Stanley Johnson have backed her to win.
Georgia grew up in Devon and London, then trained as a solicitor before featuring in E4 reality show Made In Chelsea.
She is now tipped to make a fortune, with celebrity PR expert Mark Borkowski predicting she could rake in as much as £1million from new deals such as lingerie and fashion endorsements.
He said: “She’s TV gold.”
Rapid rise to fame

AS someone who lives and breathes showbiz and telly, I have to admit knowing very little about Georgia Toffolo before she was the shock signing on this year’s I’m A Celebrity.
But, just like Scarlett Moffatt and Vicky Pattison before her, if anything that lack of profile has helped her chances.
In three weeks Toff, as we now know her, has become one of the biggest stars on British TV.
While her fee to appear was tiny compared to big names like Amir Khan and Jennie McAlpine, it was a canny decision by her agents.
She is now tipped to make more money from the show commercially than any other.
Most importantly, she’s proved that coming from stuck-up reality show Made In Chelsea doesn’t mean you’re stuck-up.
That infectious smile and down-to-earth personality should make her 2017 Queen of the Jungle.
