THE relationship between Strictly stars Gemma Atkinson and Gorka Marquez exploded into the open following a fiery public row.
The 33-year-old actress was furious after spotting Gorka, 27, flirting with a fellow dancer — before they passionately made up back at their hotel.
The Sun revealed in October that Gemma was secretly dating Alexandra Burke’s pro dance partner, but they had kept their romance mainly behind closed doors.
Yet their secret spilled out in front of fellow Strictly contestants and professionals after they were seen arguing at a Strictly after-party in Blackpool last month.
A source said: “Gemma wasn’t impressed to see Gorka flirting with a beautiful dancer, brought in as an extra in the professional group of dancers for one of the big numbers at the Blackpool Tower Ballroom.
“Everyone could see that Gemma was looking at him and had a face like thunder.
Eventually she went over and confronted him and asked what the hell he was doing.
“It was the talk of the Strictly pros next day because until this point she and Gorka had been very careful not to be seen looking intimate together in public.
"He stormed back to his room and Gemma followed in the same direction very shortly afterwards.”
BBC bosses kept the hotel bar open until the early hours after filming the live Saturday show.

Producers teased fans with snaps of the former Girls Aloud star throwing shapes while decked out in a glitzy reindeer costume.
She’ll be joined by Judy Murray, who promised to be “every bit as bad as before”.
Coral PR man John Hill said: “Strictly’s Christmas special always performs well.”
They were keen to avoid a repeat of last year when stars had a night out in Blackpool and Gorka lost four teeth after being punched.
The cast boozed the night away as Gemma — paired on Strictly with dancer Aljaz Skorjanec — celebrated her birthday.
