Tamara Ecclestone reveals daughter Sophia wants a unicorn for Christmas
TAMARA Ecclestone admits she's "not sure what to do" as far as her daughter's Christmas present is concerned - because she's asked for a unicorn.
The heiress-turned reality star - who recently admitted her husband Jay Rutland tells her off for wasting money - says she's looking forward to showering Sophia, 3, with gifts, but she's struggling with some of her requests.
Tamara - who lives in a £70 million Kensington mansion - told Hello! magazine: "It's a bit of a tricky one because she's asking for a real unicorn. I'm not sure what to do.
"A friend told me about a book where it says unicorns can't be captured, so I think I'll have to buy it and read it to her.
However, Tamara, 33, does have an idea of a more realistic gift to buy Sophia - a doll and some Trolls.
She added: "She loves playing with babies so I'm going to get her the ones you can feed and they go to the bathroom.
"I'm also going to get her some Trolls things - she loves Trolls. She's been singing Christmas songs, too. She loves Jingle Bells and We Wish You a Merry Christmas. "
But despite Sophia's desire for a unicorn, Tamara insists her little girl isn't spoiled.
She said: "I try so hard not to spoil her. But at the same time, we do things like go to Toys R Us and buy presents for all the kids in Great Ormond Street Hospital over Christmas and are sad.
"It's really important to give things back to other people."
Tamara says she and husband Jay don't spend much money on each other at Christmas.
She revealed: "Jay and I have decided not to go nuts with stuff for ourselves, although Jay is so thoughtful and sweet and he always gets things that are personalised or mean something.
"The most romantic thing he's ever given me was last Christmas.
"He made me a DVD of when I was pregnant, when Sophia was born and the first few years of her life, with music and stuff. He edited all together with footage from our camcorder. Gifts like that are nicer to me then say, a handbag."
