Katie Price reveals plans to ‘be a new person’ and get rid of alter-ego Jordan AND Katie Price in 2018 after ‘worst year of her life’
KATIE Price has revealed she’s getting rid of her public persona next year, along with her alter-ego Jordan.
Calling 2017 the “worst year” of her life, the mum-of-five has admitted she wants to close to the door on her former life to start fresh.
Katie told : “I can’t wait to put all of his drama behind me.
“It’s been the worst year for me and I just want to put it behind me and start afresh.
“I plan to get rid of Jordan, get rid of Katie Price and start as a new person.
“I’ll keep the name but I’ll be a brand new person. I’d like to have no dramas in 2018.”
Did you know her name isn’t really Katie Price?
- The former model changed her name when she became famous.
- It was first shorted to Katie Price and then infamously changed to Jordan when her modelling career started.
- But Katie’s real name is actually Katrina Infield.
- She changed Katrina to Katie because it sounded “catchier” and got rid of her biological father’s last name when her mum remarried Paul Price.
Katie previously dropped her alter ego Jordan after marrying Peter Andre.
However her raucous behaviour saw the booze and party loving glamour girl come back bigger and better than ever following their split.
It’s been a rough six months for Katie, after she found out her husband Kieran Hayler had cheated on her for a third time with their nanny Nikki Brown.
The former stripper still lives in their home, with Katie admitting they make a “good team” despite his constant infidelity.
As well as this, Katie’s mum Amy has been diagnosed with a terminal lung condition called Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis.
Katie revealed the diagnosis in September and earlier this week sobbed on Loose Women as she admitted it could be her mum’s last Christmas.
The 39-year-old explained that Keith Chegwin, who died earlier this week as the result of a similar lung condition, had been supporting their family.
Katie explained: “I knew all along about Keith but I never said it to anyone and I can't believe that within six months he's gone.
