Strictly lovebirds Mollie King and AJ Pritchard won’t dance together again as she’s snubbed from tour
MOLLIE King's days on the dance floor with AJ Pritchard are almost officially over after she was snubbed from the official Strictly Come Dancing tour.
Despite finishing the popular BBC show in fifth place, it has been revealed that Mollie won't be joining her co-stars on the road in the new year.
Strangely, however, her professional partner - and rumoured romantic flame - AJ will be strutting his stuff in the live stage shows.
Speaking to magazine, AJ said: "I’m going to be on the tour, but Mollie isn’t unfortunately.
"I believe I’m just going to be doing some dancing with my professional partner Chloe.
"We haven’t really spoke about it, but I’m really excited to be travelling the country, and performing in these fantastic areas."
Although Mollie and AJ will dance together in a group performance during this weekend's final, there has been no explanation for her absence from the tour line-up.
The confirmed couples are Debbie McGee and Giovanni Pernice, Alexandra Burke and Gorka Marquez, Gemma Atkinson and Aljaž Skorjanec, Susan Calman and Kevin Clifton, Joe McFadden and Katya Jones, Davood Ghadami and Nadiya Bychkova and Jonnie Peacock and Oti Mabuse.
The Sun Online has contacted Mollie's rep for comment.
Although they didn't make it to this year's Strictly Come Dancing final, which takes place this weekend, Mollie and AJ were well liked by viewers.
Since leaving the show, the pair have faced widespread speculation that they have fallen for each other romantically too.
The Sun exclusively revealed earlier this month that they'd been seen kissing during their training.
This week, Mollie and AJ were pictured together at a surprise party thrown for Ruth Langsford.

The pair were snapped with their arms around each other at the bash, which was organised to celebrate Ruth's Strictly success and her husband Eamonn Holmes' 58th birthday.
What's next for Mollie and AJ remains to be seen but it's expected by bookies that they'll reveal their relationship within weeks and get engaged next year.
The Strictly final begins at 6.30pm this Saturday on BBC One.
