Coronation Street fans have their hearts melted as Bethany Platt agrees to be Craig Tinker’s girlfriend
CORRIE fans were delighted to see Bethany Platt agreeing to go out with long-time confidant and admirer Craig Tinker on tonight's episode.
Bethany, who has been through an enormous grooming ordeal this year, has been supported by police officer Craig the entire time - and he let her know his true feelings for her earlier this week.

When Craig first told her she was his type, and that he'd been bottling up affection for her for months, Bethany freaked out and claimed he was "just like the rest of them".
But after some gentle persuasion from grandma Audrey, who said Craig reminded her of her own late husband Alf, Bethany started to come to her senses.
And tonight Bethany - played by Lucy Fallon - apologised to Craig - played by Colson Smith - for her unfair reaction, and told him: "There aren't many men like you around these days."
She then confirmed she would be his girlfriend and gave him a chaste kiss on the cheek - as fans freaked out on social media.

As with numerous other soap romances, fans were quick to give the Craig Tinker/Bethany Platt romance a special nickname.
Using collisions of their names, the titles Braig, Cethany and Plinker were suggested on Twitter.
Bethany has proved she is a very strong character in Weatherfield, and now - as well as a love plot - she is set to use that strength for good.
Having defeated her abuser Nathan, she will soon help lead a campaign of strippers against their abusers after one of her pals gets groped.
