Zoe Ball ‘taken on romantic holiday by new lover Michael Reed’ as their romance hots up

ZOE Ball’s boyfriend Michael Reed is whisking the Strictly It Takes Two star away on a loved up holiday for Christmas as their romance hots up.

Friends of the pair claim they’re going abroad over the festive period after they started dating earlier this year.

Zoe’s romance with construction boss Michael is her first since her boyfriend Billy Yates took his own life in May.

A pal told The Sunday Mirror: “It is still early days for Zoe and Michael but they are having a great time.

“He is completely smitten and wants to take Zoe away for Christmas.

“It will be a short break and a chance for them to have some proper time alone.

“She has been really busy with Strictly but now she has time to do what she wants.”

Earlier this month Michael was spotted grinning as he left 42-year-old Zoe’s home in London after The Sun revealed they were dating.

Zoe was left devastated after Billy’s death but her friends said Michael was helping to put a smile back on her face.

An insider explained: “It is great to see Zoe with a spring in her step — smiling and enjoying life again.

“She has had a tough time of it this year so deserves some happiness.

“It is early days with Michael but Zoe seems quite taken with him.

“She left her girlfriends to go and meet him so that shows how keen she is.

“Michael is a charismatic guy and very handsome, so it is not hard to see the attraction.

“He is also not in showbiz, so hopefully that might make any relationship easier.”
