Love Island’s Jamie Jewitt reveals the real reason he exploded with rage at Camilla Thurlow and insists it’s all down to trolls
JAMIE Jewitt has revealed the real reason he exploded with rage at Camilla Thurlow and insisted it's all down to trolls.
The Love Island star opened up about the couple's bust-up last week and insisted the romance is still going strong.
Jamie, 27,was pictured snarling with rage during a fiery bust-up with his sobbing girlfriend in London last week.
The reality star looked furious as he waved a phone at Camilla, 28, on the street outside The Charge II boxing fundraiser at Lindley Hall in the capital on Wednesday night.
The snaps raised questions about the state of their relationship, but Jamie has now revealed the argument was about Camilla getting trolled online.
Jamie said he was angry because she gets a lot of nasty comments and "it gets too much".
He told : "I’m a bit frustrated, it’s annoying as you argue in the heat of the moment.
"The argument started because Camilla gets harassed and I get harassed by people saying all kinds of horrible f****** things on Instagram, and she gets a lot of it, comments and such, and it gets too much.
"That night I had a lot to do at that event, and I wasn’t being supportive and I was being off-ish and we ended up bickering.
"Then went outside and had an argument, and I was holding her phone...
"I don’t want to say what I was calling these people but they frustrate the hell out of me.
"They’re being horrible behind keyboards and then it makes us argue.
"And I got way too angry. It was over in seconds and we’re absolutely fine."
