Coronation Street’s Brooke Vincent’s bid to win Dancing On Ice by giving up booze and fags
CORONATION Street’s Brooke Vincent has ditched the booze and fags for the new series of Dancing on Ice.
The actor and her partner Matej Silecky have taken up a strict diet in order to win the ITV competition, the Sun’s Bizarre column can reveal.
Speaking at the Natural History Museum ice rink, Brooke, 25, said: "[My life has changed] Massively. I've not drunk.
"We've had a bit of a strict routine. We're trying.
"Gym, healthy, stop smoking.”
She added: "I'm happy - I've got a good teacher.”
The star, who played Sophie Webster in the soap, joins the likes of Love Island’s Kem Cetinay, X Factor’s Jake Quickenden and Great British Bake Off 2016 winner Candice Brown in the line-up for the revamped ice skating show.
This Morning presenters Holly Willoughby and Phil Schofield are returning along with Torvill and Dean and Jason Gardiner.
Celebrities have been forced to diet over the Christmas period as professional skaters do all they can to come out on top.
Brooke has previously revealed the toll it has taken on her body.

She said: "I dropped my phone the other day and it flew between my legs. I’ve never had that problem before but now I have a gap! My arms and top half also have more definition. I have a spring in my step. I can wear whatever I want.
"I’m not saying I have the best body or I’m the slimmest, but I’m really quite happy at the minute. I’m more confident, I’ve got more energy, my skin is dewier and I’m more awake in the mornings.
"I’ve gone down a dress size, too. I was a size 10 and I’m now a small size 8. My nan said to me yesterday: ‘Oh Brookey, you’ve lost your boobs!’ I’m measured every Monday."
