SIMON Cowell and partner Lauren Silverman kick off their usual winter holiday in sunny Barbados with a spot of jet ski action.

The X Factor judge, 58, and his American baby mama, 39,  hit the waves off the coast just by their villa, with both halves of the couple opting for eye-popping swimwear.

Music mogul Simon paired bright turquoise swimming trunks with a pair of reflective Aviators, as he showed off his already puce tan.

Meanwhile his gorgeous girlfriend, who is the mother of his three-year-old son Eric, went for an olive green 70s-style bikini.

She also wisely wore a baseball cap to keep the sun off, and emulated her partner by going for Aviator shades.

DIY SOS host Nick Knowles is also holidaying with his three-year-old son on the island at the moment and opted to hit the jet ski, so they may have bumped into each other.

Lauren and Simon are known to enjoy copious amounts of holiday time in Barbados and the Caribbean, having formed their romance while spending time on yachts with Lauren's ex-husband.

In fact, Simon and Lauren cheated on her husband Andrew before she fell pregnant and caused him to file for divorce.

But this month, shock reports claim that Simon has reconciled with his old BFF Andrew, 40, despite their epic fallout.

Originally, property tycoon Andrew was livid when he found out his friend had slept with his wife, and filed for divorce, citing adultery - at the same time Lauren was revealed as ten weeks pregnant.

When the pregnancy became news, the X Factor judge said: "I'm not proud of the circumstances. I can't hold my head up about it."

Subsequently, things got so toxic between the two men that Andrew allegedly banned Simon from being in the same room as his and Lauren's son Adam, 11, during meetings in New York.

Now The Mail on Sunday has claimed Andrew and Simon - who is dad to Lauren's son Eric, three - have officially "buried the hatchet".

And shockingly, they say the relationship has become friendly again because cuckolded Andrew started sending Simon texts on occasions including his mother's death.

A source told the paper: "Simon has always been keen to put the message out that relations were cordial for the sake of Adam.

"In reality, everything was extremely acrimonious. Now things really are cordial - in fact they are amicable, friendly even."

They added: "There is even talk of a joint family holiday like the old days. It's bizarre."

Andrew remarried in 2015, to widow Samantha Zimmerman - thought to be a lookalike of Lauren.
Now it seems the couple may be heading off on holiday with Simon, Lauren and the children.

And yet as late as 2013, Simon, Lauren and Andrew were seen soaking up the sun on similar holidays, often sojourning in the Caribbean.

Less than a year later, when the divorce news hit, Andrew's brother Alexander told the New York Post: "It is an unbelievable story of betrayal. It is a sad story and a tragic story."

Perhaps next time Lauren and Simon hit Barbados, Andrew will be right there with them.

Simon will be glad he's made a getaway after his favourite restaurant was hit by a raw sewage leak - and following the news his ex Sinitta is releasing a tell-all book.

The 80s icon turned down the opportunity to join Simon in Barbados after he snubbed her at the Judges' Houses this year by taking Cheryl Tweedy instead.
