FITNESS fanatic Davina McCall has divided opinion with her latest Instagram post.
The TV presenter, 50, posted this snap of her age-defying abs while on holiday in Australia.
It is no wonder the mother of three is beaming, having seen all her hard work in the gym pay off.
But with the recent breakdown of her 17-year marriage to Matthew Robertson, some fans have questioned whether Davina’s obsession with exercise and healthy eating has gone too far.
Here, fitness expert Lucy Wyndham-Read and writer Samantha Brick argue whether her body is inspiring or concerning.

I TAKE my hat off to Davina. It takes a lot of hard work to look like her.
This is not the body of someone who has done a 15-minute workout DVD and cut a handful of calories for a couple of days.Her look takes hard graft – and she should be proud of it.
I would imagine Davina is doing lots of cardio and strength training, and exercise will be a huge part of her day.But her diet is what will make the difference to her physique.
She will be following a high-protein and low-carb plan, so tucking into lots of green veg and lean meat.That takes serious discipline anyway, but especially at this time of year.
She won’t be secretly nibbling at her kids’ Christmas chocolates or saying yes to a second glass of mulled wine at the pub.
Davina proves that age is no barrier to looking great, being strong and fit. What- ever her motivation, I salute her. She looks bloomin’ fantastic.
For those who think she looks emaciated or has taken her fitness regime to extremes, who are you to judge?
She appears to have quite a bit going on in her personal life and exercise will only help. She doesn’t need your aggro too.
Working out is a great stress buster. Seeing her physique change shape is also bound to boost her mood. It could also improve her confidence.
And what woman going through divorce would not want all of these things?
You wear your emotions. Many women comfort eat when they are sad. Davina’s new look tells me she is a woman in control.
With her dedication to a healthy lifestyle, she will have endless amounts of energy and her quality of sleep will be good.
Those who slam her are only jealous, and should know better than to judge other women’s bodies. Davina is girl power personified.
She’s a woman on a mission and her fine physique proves it.
Us ladies should be bowing down to her – not slating her.

CRUISING towards Crimbo, most women – like me – are cutting themselves a large amount of slack.
For the past fortnight I’ve foregone my usual pilates classes and my eye has been firmly on the prosecco.
I’ve been far more focused on celebrating the end of 2017 and having a giggle with the girls. If I’d have jetted overseas, then all bets are off.
Apparently, Davina McCall is already Down Under on her holibobs. That’s why I’m mystified why she’d post a picture of herself looking bloody awful.
Her boobs have gone AWOL. From the waist down she could be a flyweight boxer. If she hadn’t slapped on copious amounts of fake tan, then Bob Geldof might be forced out of retirement to start an appeal to Feed Davina.
She’s on holiday for God’s sake! Davina should be posing with pictures of mocktails or incredible Aussie sunsets, not relentlessly demonstrating how she is working out as though her life depended on it.
I wouldn’t judge Davina’s body if she lived out of the public eye, but she doesn’t.
That’s why I – and her 753,000 followers on Instagram – are perfectly free to judge her.
Can you remember the last time Davina uploaded a pic of herself in a frock? Me neither. It’s as though Davina posts pictures of her gym-kit bod only on days with a D in it.
Akin to a Ryanair version of Gwyneth Paltrow, she continually foists herself on us as a fitness and lifestyle guru knocking out a dizzying number of cookbooks and exercise DVDs.
That’s why I have no hesitation in stating I shuddered and feared for her psyche when I saw the picture she had posted of herself online.
If Davina thinks she looks great then she has got problems. Granted, she has had a rum deal recently, with her marriage breaking down.
I do wonder if there is anyone in Davina’s circle who can sit down and give it to her straight, the “Look Davina, love, this has got to stop” convo.
The one that all girlfriends should be able to have with their besties. She has been refreshingly honest in the past about life as a drug addict.

I suspect exercising to this degree is yet another form of addiction. As a mum, Davina needs to start 2018 by taking a long, hard look at herself.
She isn’t just a mentor to thousands of devotees who follow her online and buy into her healthy lifestyle schtick. She is also a role model to her kids.
While there was a moment when she had her exercise routine in check, I fear she has gone too far.
