Mel B writing a ‘tell-all book’ about Stephen Belafonte to give fans ‘her version of events’
MEL B is reportedly planning to write a “tell-all book” about her relationship with Stephen Belafonte in a bid to air out her version of events.
The former Spice Girl, who has been embroiled in her messy divorce throughout the course of 2017, is reportedly ready to discuss in detail the trials and scandals surrounding the end of her ten year marriage.
The alleges that publishers have already been in contact and she could land up to a £5.2million ($7million) advance in the process if she agrees.
A source told the paper: ““She has been making notes and has been approached about a memoir.
“The last year’s volume of controversy and scandal is enough for most autobiographies.
“Mel doesn’t want to hold back.”
However, she could run into trouble with her now ex-husband Stephen, who reportedly wants to place a gag order on the star to stop her discussing their marriage.
The as-yet-unconfirmed book would allegedly act as a follow-up to her previous autobiography, Catch a Fire, which was released in 2003.
As a result, it could potentially cover her ten-year marriage to Stephen, the relationship the couple shared with nanny Lorraine Gilles, her failed relationship with Eddie Murphy and the birth of two of her children.
If she agrees, the book could potentially help cover the costly divorce she’s now completed.
The singer, formerly known as Scary Spice, needs to beef up her bank balance as she possibly can - after having to fork out £175,000 on Stephen's lawyers’ fees, as well as having to pay him £11,300 a month for at least three years.
To make matters worse, Mel's former nanny, Lorraine Gilles, is suing her for defamation to the tune of £2 million after allegations of threesome sex.
But Mel is planning to put it all behind her, and is on a mission to rebuild her life - and she's hoping Mel C, Geri Horner, Emma Bunton and Victoria Beckham will be up for a Spice Girls reunion.

A source told the Mirror: “Mel is now on a revenge mission to rebuild her life and fortune without Stephen weighing her down.
“Top of the agenda is her desire to reform the Spice Girls, with or without Victoria Beckham, to get pieces in place to celebrate the group’s 25th anniversary in 2019.
“She knows that they can do something together and is hoping for new music, gigs and some kind of movie documentary about their success.”
