Louise Redknapp keeps wedding ring ON as divorce from husband Jamie is finalised
The singer has been pictured still wearing her wedding ring just before her divorce was made final
LOUISE Redknapp was still wearing her wedding ring before her divorce to ex-husband Jamie being granted.
The singer - who was granted a quickie divorce this morning in London's Family Court - has been pictured out in Liverpool wearing her wedding band.
Dressed casually in active wear, Louise left her hotel with her ring still on display to photographers while she sported a huge smile on her face.
The pictures were taken before court documents revealed that Jamie's 'unreasonable behaviour' was to blame for the marriage split.
They add that Jamie had "behaved in such a way that [Louise] cannot be expected to live with [Jamie]" and that the marriage had "broken down".
The divorce documents - filed by Louise - noted that Jamie's 'unreasonable behaviour' was the reason she wished to end their 19-year marriage.
The former footballer and the Strictly Come Dancing star were granted their quickie divorce in just 20 seconds at the London's Family Court today.
Just hours before the hearing, Louise was caught on camera performing at the wedding of Strictly choreographer Jason Gilkinson and his partner James.
The former pop star took to the stage on Thursday night and appeared in high spirits as she entertained guests - including Mollie King and Frankie Bridge - with a number of tracks, including her hit 1996 song Naked.
Neither Jamie, 44, a former Liverpool and Tottenham midfielder who now works as a television pundit, nor Louise, 43, were in court when Judge Ian Mulkis granted a divorce decree at the hearing in the Central Family Court in London.
The judge granted a decree nisi - a marriage formally ends when judges grant decree absolute. A wife or husband can apply for a decree absolute six weeks after a decree nisi is granted.
The Redknapps married in 1998 on a luxury 130ft yacht called Lady Tamara in Bermuda and confirmed their split last October.
The couple are expected to reach amicable terms on custody of sons Charley, 13, and Beau, nine.
Former Eternal pop singer Louise, 43, admitted she longed to relaunch her career after the thrill of last year’s dance show and its nine-month tour.
“When I agreed to do Strictly that I realised I couldn’t go back to that.
“I wanted to perform. I felt physically sick at the idea I’d never have that buzz again.”
She left the family home in Oxshott, Surrey and has been touring with the stage show Cabaret for the last four months.
The boys have been living with ex England soccer ace Jamie, 44 – worth an estimated £15million.
After today, the couple must wait six weeks before applying for a final decree absolute to formally end the marriage.
