Nathan Massey and Cara De La Hoyde reveal their newborn son is called Freddie-George as they rule out engagement
The Love Island winners have confirmed they are back together but insisted they are not engaged
CARA De Le Hoyde and Nathan Massey have revealed their newborn son's name.
The Love Island couple has reunited and have spoken for the first time about their baby Freddie-George and how he has changed their life and "completed" them.
Little Freddie-George was born on December 13, 12 days after his due date after Cara was induced and warned she could spend four days in hospital.
Cara admitted that her plans for a water birth went out the window when Freddie-George began arriving when she was in the bath.
She told : "I’d been sat in the bath for two hours.
"I did plan on having a water birth, but I was very much of the mind set that whatever happens, happens. I couldn’t have an epidural as I was too far gone.
"Nathan arrived and he was like: ‘You need to get out of the bath now!’ My fingers were like prunes. He helped me out and put the towel round me and my waters broke!"
When she was in the hospital Cara was eventually told at 5.30am that she could begin pushing but she was so scared that she claims to have "scared the contractions away".
She added: "My whole body tensed up and I scared the contractions away. I just had to push him out with no contractions, nothing to help me."
But when he arrived it was love at first sight.
Nathan said: "I’m on top of the world. I feel amazing. It’s a love you can’t explain. It’s a shock but it feels natural. You instantly grow up. When he’s laying there I’ll do everything to make sure that he can’t be in any harm."
Cara also confirmed the couple are back together officially, but not yet engaged.
She said: "We said if it’s meant to be, we’ll get back together. We always said we wouldn’t get back together just because of the baby. It had to be right. There was a lot of sneaking around and saying we weren’t together, but we just wanted to be sure before we said anything."

She added: "We’re back together and Freddie-George has completed us."
Speaking about the ring, Cara explained: "I have been wearing this ring for months and it has the baby’s initials
FG on it. We knew his name for four or five months. We’re not engaged so I wear his name on my ring finger as he’s my little man."
