Amy Winehouse’s dad says singer’s ghost visits him at Kent home
IT’S been more than six years since AMY WINEHOUSE died but she is still very much alive, according to her family.
The singer’s father MITCH has claimed he is being visited by the ghost of his late daughter.
And he says Amy’s spirit even comes and sits on the end of his bed at his home in Kent.
In an exclusive chat, Mitch said: “We do have our moments, particularly on her birthday, September 14. It’s hard.
“After three years I was thinking maybe that one day she will come back in some shape or form, and she does come back — not physically, but spiritually — all the time.
“I could not begin to tell you how much she is around.
“There are lots of strange happenings.
“Her spirit comes and sits on the end of my bed. She just sits there and it looks just like her with her beautiful face and she looks at me. I say to her, ‘Are you all right?’ because I get nervous with her being there.
“But it is comforting in a way to know she is here and around me.”
Mitch also believes Amy — whose hits include You Know I’m No Good — visits him and his wife Jane in the form of a bird that looks just like the one Amy had tattooed on her arm.
He added: “The week after she died I was at my sister’s house and we heard this thud and a blackbird that looked identical to Amy’s tattoo flew into the glass.
“We went and picked it up and put it up on a perch. It happened at night, when birds don’t fly, but it came back and sat on my foot.
“And then we put it back again and it came and sat in the middle of us and sang. I do now see blackbirds all the time. And you think, ‘Oh, it’s only a bird,’ but it’s her, I’m sure of it.”
Mitch, who founded the Amy Winehouse Foundation to support young people struggling with drug and alcohol issues, added: “There are so many things that happen to me that I cannot explain.”
Last year I revealed there are discussions about staging a West End musical charting Amy’s life.
It will be a fitting tribute.

Jay's glorious feud
JAY Z didn’t go for a bunch of flowers from the petrol station to apologise to wife BEYONCE.
Instead, the multi-millionaire rap mogul created a star-studded music video to help heal the damage caused by his infidelity.
Jay released a seven-minute video on Tidal for his track Family Feud yesterday.
It shows him confessing his sins in church, saying: “Yeah, I’ll f*** up a good thing if you let me. Let me alone, Becky.”
That refers to “Becky with the good hair” in the track Sorry from Beyonce’s album Lemonade.
It sparked the rumours of infidelity which Jay finally confirmed in an interview last month.
He also raps, “Nobody wins when the family feuds” in a confessional, while daughter Blue Ivy sits on a pew and Beyonce patrols the scene.
Blue, who turns six later this month, is also depicted as an adult leading an all-female congregation.
The plot fast-forwards to 2050 as “America’s founding mothers” debate whether to preserve the constitution’s Second Amendment, which protects the right to bear arms.
Hollywood stars JESSICA CHASTAIN, BRIE LARSON and MICHAEL B JORDAN and THANDIE NEWTON make cameos.
Jay couldn’t have tried much harder to put this behind them.

Jacko's backo
MICHAEL JACKSON will be moonwalking back into the charts in 2018.
Producer REDONE, the man behind LADY GAGA’s biggest hits, has a batch of unheard Jacko tunes ready for release.
And he plans to use one for a charity record.
RedOne said: “I worked with Michael Jackson and that was the biggest thing.
“I’ll never forget. It was such an honour. I have his voice now in my computer. I have him singing my songs – it’s incredible. That material is unreleased.
“I have a lot of ideas but I have him on one song that’s solid and I could release.

“It would need to be for charity, not to make money out of his death. Absolutely not. Just to do something for a good cause.
“The title is Give Me Your Love. That’s the first time I’ve ever given the title of Michael’s song. I respect the artist.”
I’m sure it will raise loads of money.
