DAVINA McCall is bouncing back from the recent breakdown of her marriage to Matthew Robertson by hitting the gym.
The former Big Brother host – who is also the star of a number of her own fitness DVDs - said she was “really happy” about dropping from a size 12 to a size 10 in just a year.
Newly-single Davina, who is already admired for her amazing figure, revealed in an interview with new! magazine that she now weighed 9st 10lbs.
Her incredible body transformation comes after the TV presenter spent Christmas Day with her ex-husband for the sake of their three children – daughters Holly, 16, and Tilly, 14, and son Chester, 11.
She told new! magazine: “I’m around 9st 10lbs and I’m in size 10 clothes, which is a size smaller than I was in last year, so it’s great. I’m really, really happy.
“I don’t want to lose any more weight now, though. This is exactly where I want to be.
“I make a point of not weighing myself all the time because I don’t think it’s healthy, but I think you know when you feel right.”
The revelations come after she unveiled an impressively toned stomach on Instagram while on holiday in Australia.
She told new! her controversial six-pack is more down to genetics than the gym, and has naturally improved as she’s got older.
“I don’t think I could lose it if I tried,” she told the magazine.
“It’s one of those physiological things I just have. It’s weird because I’ve always had quite a good tummy but it’s something that just seems to have appeared as I’ve got older.
“Honestly, I’m not going ‘oh my god I must go and work on my six-pack’. It sounds terrible but it’s just there.”
