Emmerdale’s Debbie Dingle will get her revenge on Joseph Tate for humiliating her and trying to destroy her family
DEBBIE Dingle will get her revenge on Joseph Tate following his big victory on last night's episode.
Speaking about the explosive story line which saw her character made homeless by her snakey boyfriend, actress Charley Webb revealed Debbie will heal her broken heart with payback.
Talking about the story, which saw Joseph deceive Debbie to get at her mum Charity, the actress said: “Tom’s plot has all been about Charity. Debbie is collateral.
“Part of Debbie is quite broken. She is so shocked and can’t take it in and when she does her initial reaction is pure hatred."
However, she revealed there was light at the end of the tunnel for her character, explaining: "She is always the sort of person to fight. She always bounces back.
“Getting revenge will help her heal. She is a Dingle. We must not forget that!
“There’s a lot of stuff that we have been filming, which has been really interesting and emotional – and that’s been quite challenging. I know there’s quite a lot coming up for her in terms of where she goes next."
It comes after viewers were left shocked by last night's sensational reveal that Tom Waterhouse is in fact Joseph, the son of Charity's husband Chris Tate.
Chris framed his wife for murder when he poisoned himself in 2003 - though Joseph does not know this.
After being dumped by girlfriend Debbie earlier this week when she discovered he was behind the golf course that will destroy her family’s home, Joseph did everything he could to win her back.
But once he had won her back, and slept with her again, he sent in bailiffs to repossess the house he bought for her, leaving her homeless.
Meanwhile his bodyguard-cum-chauffeur Graham kept Charity captive after she discovered his horrifying secret, only returning her in time for Debbie to see her children’s belongings being dumped on the street.
Then as she struggled to understand what was happening, Joseph revealed his nasty side and celebrated his victory.
