Celebrity Big Brother viewers brand India Willoughby ‘intolerant’ and a ‘hypocrite’ as she claims she is ‘scared of drag queens’
CELEBRITY Big Brother viewers were left furious with India Willoughby tonight after she claimed she was “scared” of drag queens.
India, 51, is transgender and previously confronted Ann Widdecombe for misgendering her by using the pronoun “he”.

However during tonight’s show India revealed she didn’t like drag queens and later told Courtney Act she had a “phobia” of them.
As India watched footage of Courtney before entering the house she rolled her eyes and said: “You know how some people are scared of clowns?
Drag queens do that for me. Just being honest.”
Later, when the pair met, India told her: “I have a phobia and I’m going to try and conquer it tonight.”

And viewers were left reeling.
One said: “Imagine someone coming up to you and saying “I have a phobia of people like you” 🙃🙃🖕🏻 #cbb”

Another raged: “SHES SO F***ING OFFENSIVE MAN #cbbindia how can u compare a drag queen to a clown and be scared of them?!?! Disgusting im so mad rn #cbb”
Someone else pointed out: “How the hell can India say she's scared of drag queens in the same way people are scared of clowns?! She would be livid if anyone said anything like that to her!!! Such a hypocrite! #cbb #cbbuk #CBBIndia”
A fourth tweeted: “Me thinks India (the lady who’s always moaning about tolerance and open-mindedness) needs to learn some tolerance and open-mindedness. #CBB”

India Willoughby upset by the discussion of how some male housemates are not attracted to trans women on Celebrity Big Brother

Later in the show India was left upset when Ginuwine told her he would not date a trans woman.
The journalist had been lamenting how tough it is to date men once they knew she was trans and the rapper responded that he wouldn’t either.
After the rest of the housemates backed Ginuwine up and not India she stormed off and was later comforted by Rachel Johnson.
