CELEBRITY Big Brother's Ashley James has reassured India Willoughby that love doesn't have labels after she had a tense discussion with Ginuwine about dating.
The transgender newsreader stormed off during last night's show after the American singer rejected her advances.
India, 51, had asked him if he would date a transgender person to which he replied: "I believe it's your choice and I would choose not to."
The star was upset by his comment but in a new clip shared on the programme's Facebook page, Made in Chelsea star Ashley, 30, was seen reassuring her housemate.
She said: "I think you'd be surprised at how many of us think of you as a woman and not as trans.
"I can't speak for the whole house but a lot of us do but when you open the narrative around trans, we ask questions and I'd to ask anything ignorant.
"But if you open the conversation and people are trying to understand without malice, you can try and get people to understand or be like, 'Do you know what? I can't talk about it.'
"Because if someone asked me the question like directly, would I date someone trans? I don't know.
"I couldn't answer because I don't...who's trans? So you know what I mean? Like in the same way that if you say to me, do I go out with brunettes, blondes? I couldn't answer it.
"It depends on the individual. If I met a trans person and I fell in love with them, of course I'd, it wouldn't bother me.
"Like, love for me is greater than a label."
While this seemed to agree with India, the journalist hadn't been as receptive to what Ginuwine, 47, had to say.
After saying he wouldn't date a transgender person, India asked: "You’d go out with a woman but not a transgender woman?” to which the Pony singer responded: "No."
Addressing her fellow housemates, India said: "The fact Ginuwine here is happy to go with women, but wouldn’t feel comfortable going with me....

"If you're in my situation trying to date, there's an extremely narrow view.
"I’ve tried. Guys have chatted me up without knowing my past but when they find out they go 'woah'.
"I’m a woman, so you would date me then. Let's have a kiss."
But when Ginuwine said no again, she shot back: "I think all the unspoken things going on there illustrate my case one hundred per cent."
She then went off in a sulk, leaving Malika Haqq to say: "I am one hundred per cent sure that we are living with a victim.
"She's gonna find every reason to walk away. If one of the men in this house said I’m not attracted to black women do you think I'd cry? Who f***ing cares."
