Towie’s Maria Fowler shows off the results of her hair transplant and admits she’s almost happy with the size of her forehead
The mum-of-one was given a surgical boost to her hairline four months ago
MARIA Fowler has given fans a glimpse at her new hairline having undergone a transplant – and she’s delighted with her “reduced forehead”.
Maria, 31, and her 36-year-old fiance Kelvin Batey had a ‘his and hers’ procedure done four months ago in a bid to fill out their tresses through surgery.
Taking to Instagram, former Towie star Maria has now shared a video of her hairline after scraping her locks into a topknot.
With one-year-old daughter Evie sitting on her lap, Maria said: “I just want to say, how good is my hair transplant going?!
“My forehead is, like, reduced and I’ve actually got a good hairline. I’m so impressed.”
She added: “It’s not there yet though, but it’s getting there.”
Maria, who quit Towie in 2012, now works as a make-up artist.
In September, she and Kelvin visited KSL hair clinic in Glasgow, Scotland, and underwent matching transplants around their hairlines.
It is thought Kelvin also received a transplant on the back oF his head.
At the time, Maria told her Instagram followers: “So we went on an adventure this weekend, we went up to @kslhairltd in Glasgow and got matching Hair Transplants!
“We’re so excited to see the finished results 💆🏻 KSL were so professional from start to finish and highly recommend them.”
She added: “Not interested in negative comments because it’s a massive positive for us and we are already over the moon with the results!!! #CouplesThatTransplant#hairrestoration #HairTransplant #KslHair.”
Despite initially looking bandaged and sore, the couple were spotted a week later and their wounds appeared to be healing well.
Meanwhile, last month Maria and Kelvin – who welcomed daughter Evie in September 2016 – got engaged in Paris.
Following Kelvin’s surprise proposal, Maria said she was “over the moon”.
She added: “[Paris] is my favourite place on earth and to be asked if I will marry him has made it even more special to me.”
