Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth fuel rumours they’ve married in secret as they both wear ‘wedding rings’ at lunch in Australia
MILEY Cyrus and fiancé Liam Hemsworth have fuelled rumours they're already married.
The pair were spotted having a relaxed lunch with friends in Australia's Byron Bay and both seem to be wearing wedding bands.
Miley recently jetted into Australia to spend New Year with actor Liam and the couple dressed down in casual, summer clothes as they stepped out to enjoy lunch with friends and family.
The popstar looked relaxed, taking selfies and affectionately putting her arm on his back, showing off her ring finger that appeared to have a band on it.
The two have been engaged, for the second time, since early 2016 and sparked marriage rumours last April when Miley's dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, tweeted a picture of his daughter looking 'bridal' in a white dress.
Billy captioned the picture of an elated looking Miley with the words "I'm so happy... you are happy."
Fans believed this meant the pair had already married with a source telling Australia's NW magazine that the ceremony had happened in secret at their California home: "It was a very intimate ceremony at their house in Malibu."
"I'm told only a handful of people were there and they're still the only ones who know."
But after the tweet, Miley's manager told mag US Weekly that the two were definitely not married.
Miley recently told The Sun on Sunday newspaper that she didn't have plans to walk down the aisle anytime soon, saying she wanted to "live a little bit more" before becoming Liam's wife.
Possibly wanting to throw everyone off the scent she said: "I don't envision marriage. I'm 24. I hope I get to live a little bit more. I have too much living to do [before I get married]."
The Wrecking Ball singer added: "Three years ago, if you'd asked me if I'd be here, this happy with this man, I'd have been stunned."
"I'm just riding this out. In some relationships, you lose yourself by being with someone else. Actually, it made me find myself more."
"I have no idea what the next three years will bring, but if it's possible to get even happier, I'll take it."
