Amber Dowding reveals she was sacked from Towie because ‘she’s too happy in her relationship’ with Chris Clark as she hints at return
She's one of seven stars who've 'mutually agreed' to take a break from filming the show, and she hints it's because her relationship is so good right now
AMBER Dowding was one of the seven stars axed from The Only Way Is Essex yesterday – but she’s already hinting she could make a return to the ITVBe show soon.
Talking exclusively to The Sun Online, Amber says that she’s so happy with boyfriend Chris Clark that she’s got no drama to bring to the show – and that could be why she’s been let go from the cast.
“We had a meeting and it was a mutual feeling that it was time to move on. I've got nothing but respect for the cast and crew,” she tells The Sun Online.
Hinting that the lack of drama with boyfriend Chris was behind the decision, she added: “Chris and I are in a really good place. We all come to a time in our lives when you're looking for what is coming next.
“I'll miss the people on the show, I have genuine friends on Towie. Like Tommy and Georgia - they're my genuine friends. I'll miss seeing them on screen but I see them all the time anyway.
“In fact, there's nothing I won't NOT miss, but I'm looking forward to what's coming next.

“Because I'm still in the circle [of friends], there will always be drama and I'll hear all about it. It will be interesting to see how it unfolds.
Amber has her sights set on more reality TV now she’s left Towie – and says her dream would be to rough it on screen.
“If I did more reality TV it would have to be something that pushed me out of my comfort zone.
“I'd want to face my fears. I'd love to do Bear Grylls The Island or I'm A Celebrity. Something that would really challenge me.”
Amber and Chris were axed after a meeting with execs yesterday, alongside Mike Hassini, Jack Rigden, Jordan Brook, Maddie Hooper and Ruby Lacey. Chris’s brother Jon Clark survived the cull.
But Amber says this isn’t the last we’ll see of her on the show.
“That door isn't closed forever - there is room to go back but for now it's not for us. It wasn't awkward and there are no hard feelings.
“Everything is great with Jon too. I've left on a high and there's no bad feelings.”
