Candice Brown is the first person to lose her place on Dancing On Ice, after going up against singer Lemar in the skate-off.

Baker Candice and her partner Matt Evers found themselves at the bottom of the leader-board last week with just 13 points out of a possible 40, meaning they had to dance again this evening.

Lemar, who replaced Monty Panesar,  and his partner Melody Le Moal discovered they would be in the dance off after getting 15 out of 40 and failing to win enough of the public vote.

The pair both danced again this evening and it was up to the judges to decided who would be going through.

Jason Gardiner went first and picked Candice and Matt, saying: “I can see that you worked on. In comparison I felt that it was cleaner.”

Ashley Banjo also chose to save Candice, saying: “The skate-off just felt executed much better.”

Jayne Torvill however picked Lemar and Melody because he “had more difficulty in the routine”.

The deciding vote came down to head judge Christopher Dean who also picked Lemar, because he believes he is the “stronger skater.”

On tonight's show Brooke Vincent was the first star to take to the ice with her skate partner Matej Silecky, dancing to I Really Like You.

The Corrie actress received 13/40 despite her skirt getting caught on Matej’s shirt and ending up ripping her tights.
