The EastEnders actress said the news was a "huge shock" and she took three pregnancy tests before she believed it was true.

She told OK! magazine: "We both started laughing when the test was positive."

Dan added: "We hadn't been trying so it was a huge shock. I think I'm still getting my head around it. Kids are a blessing but having three children is going to be a big responsibility.

"I'm not going to lie, I feel quite scared!"

Jacqueline revealed she's been suffering from morning sickness but she's excited to welcome baby number two.

She said: "I’ve been throwing up nearly every morning, which I’ve found hard because I didn’t have any sickness with Ella.

"I’ve been thinking a lot about how I could possibly love this child as much as Ella, but I Googled it and saw a lovely saying – mothers don’t
halve their love, they double it. That put my mind at rest a bit."

They also haven't decided if they'll find out the baby's sex beforehand as Dan explained: "We found out with Ella but we’re not sure this time. I’d really like to know but Jacqueline’s on the fence".

Jacqueline added: "I don’t deal very well with surprises so it would be better for me to find out, but at the same time I think it would be nice to wait.

"Neither of us mind if it’s a boy or a girl but for Ella’s sake I think it would be nice for her to have a sister."

Jacqueline said: "I always wanted two kids so this is perfect. Daniel might have to book in for the snip because there’s no way I’m having more!"

Dan is very much a doting dad and just last week he got a huge tattoo of his children on his leg.

The 26-year-old has a number of inkings on his body already, but took to Instagram to show off his latest body art.

The star has had an image of his two children holding hands at his wedding to EastEnders actress Jacqueline last year tattooed on his leg.

While Ella wears a pretty white flower girl dress and carries a small bouquet of flowers, a smiling Teddy can be seen in a blue suit and grey waistcoat.
