Sharon Stone reveals she was a victim of sexual misconduct in Hollywood
SHARON Stone said she “has seen it all” when quizzed about sexual misconduct in Hollywood.
The Basic Instinct star, 59, was asked if she had been put in an uncomfortable position.
Stone said: “Can you imagine the business I stepped into 40 years ago? I didn’t come here with any protection.”
She spoke out following the #MeToo movement, calling out the likes of alleged abusers like Harvey Weinstein.
Stone also spoke about her medical crisis in 2001, when a haemorrhage almost cost the actress her life.
Brave Sharon had a "five per cent chance" of living when she was struck by a brain haemorrhage.
The 59-year-old Basic Instinct actress had to re-learn "everything" when her life was "wiped out" as a result of the ruptured blood vessel in 2001.
In a candid interview Sharon said she believed work dried up following her recovery because she was considered to be a "broken person".
Sharon - who will make her TV return in Steven Soderbergh's 'Mosaic' later this month - said: "There was about a five per cent chance of me living. My whole life was wiped out.
"I'm so grateful to have this. The chance of my having it was so slim."
Sharon previously recalled suffering a near-death experience in which she saw a "giant vortex of light" when her brain haemorrhage struck.
She said: "I feel that I did die. This kind of giant vortex of light was upon me and - poof!
"I sort of took off into this glorious, white light. I started to see and be met by some of my friends ... people who were very, very dear to me [who had died].
"I had a real journey with this that took me to places both here and beyond. But it was very fast - whoosh! Suddenly, I was back. I was back in my body."
