Speaking on Lorraine today, Charley said: "I'd love to go and do other things and when the time is right, I will do but right now I'm really happy."

She added: "I love it, I love all the people, I'm challenged every single day.

"While the children are little it really suits my life. I go home to my kids every single night and I don't think you can put any sort of price on that."

Charley, 29, shares two children, Buster and Bowie, with her partner and co-star Matthew Wolfenden.

The actress also talked through her character's disastrous luck with men and said the latest betrayal from Joseph Tate won't be easily forgotten.

Joseph arrived in the village to target Debbie by pretending to be a man called Tom Waterhouse.

He seduced her, schemed so he bought her a Bentley, the house she wanted to buy for herself, and engineered a development deal that would destroy her family's ancestral home.

The multi-millionaire then revealed himself as Chris Tate's son, and admitted his entire plan was to hurt Debbie because he wanted to get back at her mother Charity who he blamed for his dad's death.
