Stephanie Waring bursts into tears as she becomes second celebrity to leave Dancing on Ice after tense skate off with Lemar

STEPHANIE Waring burst into tears as she became the second celebrity to be voted off Dancing on Ice tonight.

The Hollyoaks actress lost out in the skate off with singer Lemar after they received the lowest amount of votes from viewers.

Steph - who scored 17 points earlier in the show - was the first to perform a new routine and had a little wobble here and there.

When she finished she told Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby: "I think I could have done it better, I've done it better in rehearsals."

Lemar, 39, then took to the ice and performed the same skate off routine he had carried out last week when he found himself in the bottom two against Candice Brown.

However the singer stumbled right at the end of the routine, and it was because of this that Jason Gardiner and Ashley Banjo chose to send him home and save Steph.

However Christopher Dean opted to save Lemar, leaving fellow head judge Jayne Torvill to cast the deciding vote.

She said: "You did have a stumble at the end you need to have a cleaner performance in the future" and then chose to save him and send Steph home.

Steph promptly burst into tears as she rejoined Phil and Holly, saying: "Do you know what I've had the most amazing time.

"I'm really proud of myself for what I've done.

Another tweeted: "why have they kept Cheryl and Antony neither can skate, yet poor Stephanie goes and Lemar stays when he tripped, Kem made a few mistakes yet give him good marks, sort it out DOI be fair instead of biased."

A third agreed, writing: "sorry that’s wrong. Stephanie and Lemar were pretty much on a par skating wise so Lemar’s mistake should have seen him leave. Absolutely wrong decision. A mistake is a mistake.
