Dancing On Ice stars Stephanie Waring and Sylvain Longchambon slam judges Torvill and Dean for breaking the rules by saving Lemar after he stumbled in skate off
STEPHANIE Waring and Sylvain Longchambon have slammed Dancing On Ice judges Torvill and Dean for breaking the rules by not keeping them on the show.
Pro dancer Sylvain claims if a celebrity stumbles during the skate off they must immediately get the boot but the former Olympians chose to save Lemar from elimination on Sunday despite his near fall.
Sylvain said: “The rules are if there’s a stumble in the skate off then if the other couple skate well then they should be out. That is the rule of the skate off.
“This happened five years ago with Pamela Anderson. She had a stumble and she was voted out.
“They gave Steph better marks on her main routine and he stumbled in the skate off and they chose him over her.
“Maybe his skate off was stronger but it is hard to understand when you have two judges that pick you and other two don’t.”
Steph added: “I am going to have a hole in my life now.
“We started training at the end of October, I had a full time schedule with Hollyoaks and I’m also a single mum of two so for me it has been really tough but rewarding at the same time.
“It has become part of my regular routine and to not continue doing that anymore. I wanted to learn new tricks and more impressive lifts.”
Stephanie admitted to being "confused" after she lost out in the skate off with Lemar when she appeared on Lorraine on Monday.
