CELEBRITY Big Brother will reveal which housemate got the boot in a shock backdoor eviction on tonight's show.

Host Emma Willis revealed on Friday night's eviction show that one housemate will leave without any fanfare this week, and the moment will air on tonight's episode.

Ann Widdecombe, Amanda Barrie, John Barnes and Daniel O'Reilly - aka Dapper Laughs - were all put up for eviction by their fellow celebrities.

The men and women were then put up against each other in a Battle of the Sexes, with the house carrying out a series of tasks to find a winning team and save their own sex.

The victors will then choose one of the two people from the opposite team to be evicted via the backdoor.

So if the male housemates win the task, they will choose from either Ann or Amanda, while if the women win, they will choose between John and Daniel.

The celebrity will have to leave despite no public vote or a crowd to welcome them, and they will have to wait until tomorrow night to speak to Emma about their time in the house.

That's because there's no rest for the wicked, as a live eviction will take place on Tuesday and will see another housemate leave.

Viewers were not happy when they were first told the news about the backdoor eviction.

One viewer wrote on Twitter: "Don’t understand why Big Brother puts these backdoor evictions in, knowing full well viewers hate them"

Celebrity Big Brother's male housemates nominate Ann Widdecombe and Amanda Barrie for elimination

Another tweeted: "Dear backdoor evictions, NO ONE LIKES YOU" and a third agreed, posting: "You know what deserves a backdoor eviction? THE BACKDOOR EVICTIONS!"

The latest eviction comes after Rachel Johnson and Maggie Oliver were the second and third celebrities to leave the house on Friday night as part of a live double eviction.
