Naomi met the Oscar winning actor on the set of Aussie film Ned Kelly in 2002 and they dated soon after.
The pair called quits on the relationship in 2004 but continued to stay close friends up until his death four years later.
After dating Naomi, Heath began a romance with his Brokeback Mountain co-star Michelle Williams.
The couple went on to have daughter Matilda, now aged 11, who was left the entirety of Heath's £13million fortune.
Last week it was reported Michelle became engaged to "low-key" boyfriend Andrew Youmans.
