Amber Davies denies taking drugs and says she’s ‘devastated’ after taking a selfie in front of white powder
The Love Island star has spoken out to set the record straight insisting she would never take drugs
AMBER Davies has broken her silence after being pictured next to a suspicious substance, revealing she is devastated.
The Love Island winner, 20, shared a selfie of herself posing in a mirror alongside a credit card, a rolled up bank note and some white powder, to her Instagram while joining friends in a hotel room following the National Television Awards last night but quickly deleted the post.

Now she has spoken out in a statement to The Sun saying: “There have been a lot of stories around this afternoon and I just want to set the record straight.
"Last night I went back to someone else’s hotel room with a dozen other people and took a selfie in front of a mirror.
"I was completely naive to what was lying on the table in front of me.
"I don’t know for sure what it was, but I do know what it looks like, and I am devastated. I have never and would never take drugs, or knowingly be around people who do. That is not who I am.

"I’m fully aware that my supporters look up to me and the last thing I want is for people to think this is the type of thing I’d do."
Amber raised eyebrows among her 1.6million social media followers after posting the image which also displayed a bottle of champagne and a glass of white wine.
Amber has given up drinking for a month as part of Lorraine’s Lose The Booze campaign after admitting that she enjoyed too many nights out following her split from Kem Cetinay.
But sources claim that Amber struggled to resist the urge to drink at the NTAs and she may have celebrated the night with a few beverages.

A fellow party-goer said: “Amber was one of the last standing at the after party.
“She had a great night and loved being back with the Love Island cast – naturally she found not drinking very difficult when everyone else at the event was enjoying the free bar.”
Amber was pictured last night with new love interest Pete Wicks after the pair were seen cosying up together in the smoking section of the party.
Kem has struggled to get over his split from Amber after seeing her move on with the likes of the Towie star.
He previously told The Sun: "I’m not going to lie when I say that it does really hurt. I am gutted. It does make me sad. It is hard to see."

Amber wore the same outfit to the awards that Love Island rival Kady McDermott donned last March.
Kady was quick to point out that she was first to wear the jumpsuit in an Instagram post shared on her profile.
Love Island champ Amber, who won the series last year with ex Kem, previously said she had overdone the partying and wanted to change her ways this month.
During an appearance on Lorraine she said: “Obviously Kem and I separated – when every girl or guy goes through a break up your friends are there saying ‘Let’s go out, let your hair down’ so I’ve done quite a bit of that recently.
