Amber Davies and Pete Wicks have been going on secret ‘dates’ for over a month
LOVE Island’s Amber Davies and Towie’s Pete Wicks have been secretly seeing each other for the last month.
The Sun Online can reveal that Pete and Amber have been out on several ‘dates’ recently, including a cosy cinema trip and dinners at popular Essex restaurant Sheesh.
“Pete and Amber have been talking, and meeting up since December – they’ve been to the cinema, and they meet up in Essex. They’ve been for dinner at Sheesh – and they even have mutual friends,” says an Essex insider.
“Sometimes if they’re both out with friends, they’ll message each other and arrange to meet, and obviously they spent a lot of time together at the NTAS this week. There's a lot of chemistry between them.”
The Sun Online’s onlooker says: “Amber was laughing and touching Pete’s chest in the smoking area. At one point he had his arm around her. It looked really flirty.”
They’ve even been spotted by fans, with one telling us they saw the pair at Wood Green’s Vue cinema on 30 December.
“They were ahead of me in the queue at the food counter in the cinema – they both got slushies and went into the cinema, just the two of them,” the onlooker told us.
“But then they got up and walked out before the film even started. It looked like a date to me.”
However, a source close to Pete says he’s reluctant to get into another relationship after getting his heart broken by ex girlfriend Megan McKenna.
“He doesn’t want to rush into anything – Amber’s a nice girl, and they have been meeting up, but they’re not exclusive and I definitely wouldn’t call them boyfriend and girlfriend,” says our insider.

“I think if anything, she’s more keen on him. He’s taking things slowly. He’s enjoying being single.”
Amber's spokesperson declined to comment.
Amber had to deny taking drugs yesterday after posting then deleting a selfie where a suspicious ‘white powder’, a credit card and a rolled up bank note were visible in the frame.
