MAX Evans’ Dancing on Ice partner Ale Izquierdo was rushed to hospital today after a lift went dramatically wrong.
The pair were rehearsing for tomorrow night’s live show, when they stumbled whilst practising the tricky manoeuvre.
After being taken to hospital, pro skater Ale was discharged and sent home but told to rest for 24 hours.
It’s thought the couple are still going to be able to perform tomorrow night.
They have already been a talking point on the revamped show.
Hunky rugby player Max previously set pulses racing after a particularly romantic number with Ale.
Max is seen trying to help Ale up after her fallTheir sizzling routine led judge Ashley Banjo to say: “I don’t know what’s going on between the two of you…”
However what Ashley didn’t realise is that Max, 34, has a girlfriend – Lauren Jamieson – who thankfully took the cheeky comment in her stride.
Speaking to , Max said: “Lauren is a dancer so she understands the need for chemistry to bring more to the performance.
“Our performance was full of romance and love. It was a compliment that the judges said we had such great chemistry.

“Lauren was buzzing that we smashed it. She was so happy and so supportive.”
In fact, Lauren has been given her boyfriend some tips on how he can improve his routines and progress through the competition.
He added: “My hands have only been used to hurt and grab people.
“She gave me a few tips with my hands.”
