Justin Timberlake to headline BRIT Awards – 15 years after touching Kylie’s bum on stage
JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE is returning to the scene of one of his cheekiest pop moments – when he felt KYLIE’s backside on stage.
I can reveal the singer is headlining the BRIT Awards next month, 15 years after his duet with the Aussie.
The ceremony, on February 21, will be one of his two high-profile gigs this year, along with the Super Bowl half-time performance in the US this Sunday, ahead of the release of his album Man Of The Woods.
A source said: “Justin went down in Brits folklore after his duet with Kylie in 2003 so he’ll always be synonymous with the Brits.
“He’ll be performing alone this time.
The former *NSYNC singer was building his career as a solo artist when he and Kylie covered BLONDIE hit Rapture.
His antics with Kylie’s famous bottom were the talk of the ceremony.
Twelve months later he stole headlines again at the Super Bowl after he ripped a panel off JANET JACKSON’s top, revealing her breast adorned with a nipple shield. Justin went on to marry actress JESSICA BIEL and they have had a two-year-old son, Silas.
He also performed his comeback Mirrors at the Brits in 2013.
This year he will be joined on the bill by his US compatriots FOO FIGHTERS, alongside huge Brit stars including ED SHEERAN, SAM SMITH, DUA LIPA, STORMZY and RAG’N’BONE MAN.
There’s still time for Kylie to make it Round 2 with Justin.
