Fifth Harmony divas are set to split after their US label Epic focused on former member Camila Cabello’s success
FIFTH HARMONY’s monumental meltdown over the loss of CAMILA CABELLO during my Bizarre Life podcast last year was the beginning of the end.
I can reveal the SIMON COWELL- backed US girlband — ALLY BROOKE, NORMANI KORDEI, DINAH JANE and LAUREN JAUREGUI, — won’t be making a new album after record label Syco lost faith when they turned into total divas.
Their US label Epic are now focused on making Camila a megastar following her global success with Havana, which spent five weeks at the top of the UK charts.
Fifth Harmony’s self-titled third album, their first as a foursome, peaked at a lacklustre No10 in the UK in September.
Now the group are set to announce their split after six years and they all believe they can follow Camila to solo stardom.
Good luck with that . . .
A music source said: “Things haven’t been the same since Camila’s departure and everyone has run out of patience with Fifth Harmony.
Basically, the band feel their label is prioritising Camila and have become hard work behind the scenes.
“They’ve watched how much effort and money has gone into Camila’s career and feel they’ve been used to catapult her into solo stardom.
“Her album received more backing than their last project and they know their days at Epic are numbered.
"Each member is making solo preparations but no one wants to be on the same label as Camila which is why Lauren has moved to another Sony subsidiary, Columbia.”
I witnessed first-hand their shocking change in attitude last year.
It took less than an hour, while recording my podcast, for the once sweet young group I once backed to show their true colours.
Turning up more than 90 minutes late in a foul mood, they couldn’t hide their disdain for Camila as they refused to address her departure — despite agreeing to open up about the circumstances for the first time beforehand.
The girls were incredibly rude and spiky during the podcast, barely bothering to give answers to my questions.
When I asked if 5H could be pals with Camila again, Lauren said: “Can we not talk about that? Like, what is this? Hello? It’s so shady.”
Perhaps they’re waiting to let it all out on their solo tunes. They will need all the help they can get.

Ora-nge in Big Apple
RITA ORA looks like she’s been Tango’d as she rocks a neon orange catsuit around New York.
She has been kept busy Stateside promoting her For You duet with LIAM PAYNE on US chatshows – appearing on five in one day.
It’s a big month for Rita as she prepares for her first Brits performance. She’ll join DUA LIPA, ED SHEERAN, FOO FIGHTERS, SAM SMITH, STORMZY and RAG’N’BONE MAN in the line-up for the big do on February 21.
I imagine she has an even more outlandish outfit planned.

BRYAN CRANSTON fans are in for a disappointment as the legendary Breaking Bad star will no longer sign autographs.
He tweeted: “After 18 years of signing for fans – I’m retiring. Overwhelmed by requests. I just can’t do it any more.”
Cetin Ways
KEM CETINAY has finally moved on from AMBER DAVIES – and he clearly has a type. The Love Island star is dating Amber lookalike and Instagram model Ruby Blake.
It’s his first romance since I revealed his split from fellow Love Island winner Amber and they’ve been seeing each other during his stint on Dancing On Ice.
Kem and Amber were snapped on the way to a shindig for the ITV show in December.
A source said: “Kem planned to be single for a while after Amber but he’s really taken by Ruby.
“There’s an obvious similarity with his ex but he knows people will make that connection. It may still be early days but Kem is having a lot of fun.”
Amber has been the quickest to get over the break-up after she swapped flirty texts with OLLY MURS and was linked to Towie star PETE WICKS. But Kem has clearly gone down the non-famous route to seek out his next relationship.

SAD news for Modern Family mum JULIE BOWEN, who has split from her husband of 13 years.
US reports say the actress, who plays Claire in the show, is separating from real estate investor Scott Phillips. The couple have three sons.
J-Lo drops new single hinting at wedding bells
JENNIFER LOPEZ has dropped a huge engagement hint to her man ALEX RODRIGUEZ in comeback tune Us.
Almost four years since the release of her previous album A.K.A, the singer is back with a new infectious SKRILLEX-produced track, in which she sings: “Could you be the one without a doubt. Could I be for your keepin?”
The singer and baseball star Alex have been inseparable since getting together last year. J-Lo said: “He’s so supportive. I mean, he was at rehearsal with me last night till 1am.
“It’s just a different kind of business, you know, and so to have someone who understands it and wants to be there and you want to be there for them, it’s a very special thing.”
Jen’s already been down the aisle three times – hopefully it will be fourth time lucky.
Booking good, Rochelle
SHE has conquered the worlds of music and telly – and now ROCHELLE HUMES is taking on the book charts.
She has signed with a publisher and is set to bring out her first children’s book this year.
A source close to the former SATURDAYS singer told me: “Rochelle is a shrewd businesswoman and wants to build an empire for her and husband MARVIN HUMES.
“She already has a book deal after meetings last year – but is not stopping there. She is also launching a skincare range for kids, after being inspired by her own experiences of motherhood.
“It’s an exciting time for her but is just the start for the Humes brand. They are looking to properly expand what they do in 2018.”
Since The Saturdays went on a break in 2014, Rochelle has hosted Children In Need, Ninja Warrior UK and The Xtra Factor on TV, and recently landed a radio show on Heart FM.
But her book deal could be the most lucrative venture – and once penned she’ll have something to read to Marvin at night.
