The BUCKS FIZZ singer, who has lost half a stone since last month, said: “My legs look different and I’m more supple, I feel so much more confident now.

“I feel happier in the clingy costumes.

“My husband hates it when I put weight on, so he prefers it now I’m active and he likes to see me looking fit.”

And Cheryl, who has been married to bassist husband Steve for 26 years, reveals the key to their happy marriage is still finding each other “sexy”.

He loves that I’m doing Dancing On Ice. He’s very protective and doesn’t want me to injure myself, but he’s very proud of me.”

Despite being the oldest celebrity in the competition and struggling on the ice in the early stages, Cheryl has beaten the odds by reaching week four alongside professional partner DANIEL WHISTON.

She previously admitted that she felt the stars — who are believed to attract salaries of between £20,000 and £100,000 depending on their celebrity status — were underpaid for their efforts on the show.
